Description

As of Dec 21 the project has gone to Siemens due to the ability to hard-wire into the existing system. The North Carolina Department of Justice, State Crime Lab is seeking a turn-key temperature monitoring system for critical cold storage units throughout the NC State Crime Lab facility. The system has two parts; a sensor housed in a glycol bottle which monitors the temperature and a dry contact, which alarms. The process will involve providing and installing forty (40) special cold storage temperature sensors housed in glycol bottles inside forty (40) cold storage units, to stabilize temperature swings due to unit access, thus preventing false alarms due to open unit doors. The sensors shall be connected to existing control panels, or in some cases, added point input modules via hard wire. The point will be added to the existing Building Automation System and configured to alarm as needed. The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Contract. Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions of this IFB and any addenda issued hereto Submit Written Questions Vendor August 10, 2022 5:00 pm Provide Responses to Questions State August 17, 2022 5:00 pm
