| Description | The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. The scope consists of removal of the existing gravel-surfaced, built-up roof system in the areas identified, including the existing insulation and gravel, down to the existing tectum roof deck. The new roof system shall include a reinforced single-ply 60 mil PVC membrane, fully adhered to a 1/2" gypsum cover board. The coverboard shall be fully adhered to rigid poly-isocyanurate insulation board that is fully adhered to the existing roof deck. Remove abandoned capped curbs and install roof deck patching where indicated. All mechanical equipment shall remain as at present. Existing penetrations located on the roof shall be raised or lengthened as required , and reset. Replace all existing roof drains and install overflow roof drains and piping as indicated. New flashings, curbs, premanufactured edge metal system, and other accessories as detailed shall be provided. Existing suspended ceilings shall be removed and reinstalled as required to complete the installation of roof drains . |
