Description

Installation of pipe stubs and valves through portions of the structure of the existing Mill Pond water treatment plant. Excavation is required to expose walls where cores are proposed through which pipe stubs will be installed. Coring will be through concrete and rebar within the existing filter channel, clearwell, and waste tank and installing ductile iron pipe stubs for future connections to a PFAS Treatment Building (to be constructed under a separate contract). This project will also includes insertion valves, exploratory test pitting, and installation of erosion control measures, and management of soils excavated as part of the work.
