Melody Ranch Channel Improvements

The project consists of the regrading approximately 1,500 linear feet of an existing earthen channel located from Margaret Street to approximately James Street within the Melody Ranch subdivision in Fate, Texas. The improvements will consist of reestablishing the channel flowline, removing trees within the channel and installing a concrete pilot channel in the channel. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating proposal prices, the Owner reserves the right to adopt the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after date on which bids are opened. A CASHIER'S CHECK, certified check or acceptable bidder's bond made payable to the City of Fate, Texas, in an amount of 5% of the bid submitted must accompany each bid as a guarantee that if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into a contract and execute such bonds as are required. A performance bond, a payment bond, and a maintenance bond, each in the amount of not less than one hundred (100%) percent of the contract price, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract and upon payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials, will be requested. The undersigned bidder agrees to execute and file with the Owner a contract and bonds on the forms provided within ten (10) days after written notification of award of the contract to the Contractor and to begin the work to be performed under the contract to be substantially complete in 90 calendar days and complete in full within 120 calendar days.
