Lighthouse Park and Playground

To provide an outdoor shelter, playground, associated concrete work, and installation at the new Lighthouse Park located at the southeast corner of Country Club Lane and West 42nd Street, Kearney, NE. The proposal will include material, labor and equipment to construct a shelter and concrete shelter pad, playground equipment, and turf playground surface, and connecting concrete sidewalks. Shelter should be a minimum of twenty-eight-feet (28’) in diameter, large enough to fit three (3), 6-foot (6’) picnic tables and 1(1) 8-foot (8’) ADA table comfortably underneath. Benches shall be purchased separate by the City. The shelter shall be located at the location identified on the site plan. Shelter shall have a hexagon shape, high-pitched hipped roof with cupola. The diameter of posts and beams shall be a minimum of six-inch (6”) x six inch (6”) and beams should be in proportion to the structure and sized to carry the loads of the roof.
