For furnishing the following items/contracts: Contract No. 2023-1 1. 500 Tons of OH #617 or PA 2A Limestone 2. 750 Tons #67 Limestone Contract No. 2023-02 1. 20,500 SY Single Seal Bituminous Coating Aley Hill 2. 20,500 SY of Prime Coat Aley Hill Contract No. 2023-03 1. 21,200 SY Single Seal Bituminous Coating - Careywood 2. 21,200 SY of Prime Coat - Careywood Contract No. 2023-04 1. 15,000 SY Single Seal Bituminous Coating - Hollowvue 2. 15,000 SY of Prime Coat - Hollowvue All bidding requirements, conditions and materials furnished shall conform to the current specifications of Penn DOT form 408 and appropriate Bulletins unless otherwise specified. Bidders may submit proposals on any individual item or any combination of these items or on all items. and the BID will be awarded at the regular April 18, 2023 Council Meeting at 7:00pm located at the Big Beaver Borough Fire Hall, 621 Friendship Rd, Darlington PA 16115 Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check payable to Big Beaver Borough or Bid Bond in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid total. The Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply to Contract No. 2023-02, 2023-03, and 2023-04 for construction contracts greater than Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000). The Borough Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposal or any part of a proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the Borough.
