Design/Build for a Juvenile Shop Building in Arcola

Scope of Work: 1. Design-build contractor to design, provide construction documents, specifications and cost estimate within the budget for all scope items. 2. The new building will be approximately a 2,000 square foot pre-engineered structure with 12’ eave height, metal roof panels and metal wall panels. 3. Prepare and grade site. Select fill and building pad per soils report. 4. Connect domestic water line to existing Well (site verify). Connect sewer to existing (site verify). Bring electrical service underground to new building. 5. Design will include two (2) 10’ wide x 8’ high manual coiling overhead doors and two (2) 3’ wide exterior personnel entry doors. 6. Building to include 3” unfaced metal building roof insulation plus 8” heavy duty vinyl backed insulation banded to structure and 3” unfaced metal building insulation at exterior walls. 7. LED low bay lighting at shop area (ceiling open to structure). 2x2 suspended ceiling with 2x4 lay in LED lighting at all other areas. 8. Interior walls to be 3-5/8” or 6” metal studs with 5/8” type X gypsum board. All interior walls to have either R-13 or R-19 fiberglass batt insulation. 9. All interior doors to have hollow metal frames (painted). 10. Special electrical connection to be provided for welding equipment.
