MILLER HOMELAND SECURITY EDUCATION CENTER (HEC) BUILDING IMMERSIVE LAB LIGHTING CONTROLS - PHASE 2 3.1 OVERVIEW A. The College of DuPage is seeking competitive bids for the Robert J. Miller Homeland Security Education Center (HEC) Building Immersive Lab Lighting Controls - Phase 2. B. All work as indicated in the project drawings and specifications prepared by Grumman/Butkus Associates with Issue for Bid date of March 2, 2023. C. Phase 2 work includes replacing the existing 208y/120v theater lighting dimming system for the COD Homeland Security Center (HEC) Building Immersive Training Lab. The new Theater dimming system will be connected to the existing Incandescent theater lighting. However, the new controls shall be forward compatible with 0-10v dimming led theatrical lighting as well as be forward compatible with color changing LED theater lighting and other DMX controlled fixtures. Refer to the plans in Exhibit B for additional requirements and complete scope of work. D. Work shall be substantially complete prior to July 31, 2023. E. The company identified as lowest and responsible responder will be executing the College's Standard Small Contract Agreement, (terms and conditions are not alterable). A sample contract is attached for reference. Please note prevailing wage, bond and insurance requirements.
