Description | **As of July 26, 2022, bids were rejected. No definite date for the rebid The Williamsville Central School District is seeking bids for the Installation of a Concrete Sidewalk of approximately 1,300 sqft for Country Parkway Elementary School. The successful bidder shall furnish all labor, supervision, supplies, tools, equipment and other means necessary or proper for performing and completing the work. The installation of the concrete pad must start no earlier than August 10, 2022 and be completed no later than September 30, 2022, weather and access to the worksite permitting. 3. INSPECTION Quality of service shall be subject to inspection by the District at any time. Should it be found that quality of services being performed is not satisfactory, and that the requirements of the specifications are not being met, the District may terminate the contract and employ another Contractor to fulfill contract requirements. 4. BID REQUIREMENTS o Successful bidder must submit proof of insurance as specified in Bid Documents, Terms & Conditions on the District website. o The Contractor must adhere to Labor Law requirements for prevailing wage rates and perform all work within compliance of NYS and OSHA regulations. o All materials not used for the project are to be removed from all sites by the Contractor when the project is complete. o The Contractor shall include the cost for and be responsible for cleanup and removal of site debris and rubbish daily. o The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions to eliminate all possible fire hazards and prevent damage to any building materials, equipment and all other property both public and personal involved in connection with the project. o The contractor shall be responsible for cleaning up the job site and shall repair or restore all structures and property that may be damaged or disturbed during performance of the work to the satisfaction of the District. o The contractors shall be responsible for contacting 811 or other underground utility marking service to ensure work area is free from unseen infrastructure. If contractor needs private utilities marked, a request will need to be made from Facilities Office (716.626.8860) forty-eight (48) hours in advance. 5. SAFETY The contractor shall insure that all its employees or agents shall abide by all safety rules or regulations set by the District as well as by the general regulations and standards of the industry and in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. 6. PREVAILING WAGES Contractors submitting bids are required to conform to all current NYS prevailing wage laws. The successful bidder is responsible for complying with all current labor rates and regulations throughout the duration of the project.
