Description

Project Location: Near Lake Conroe Dam, Conroe, Texas 77304 Montgomery County Work includes but is not limited to, upgrading electrical power at shoreline, dock walkway, floating fuel station attached to Constables dock near the Lake Conroe Dam to ensure electrical components and installation comply with relevant code requirements. Work will require rerouting and relocation of some appurtenances. Question Cutoff Date: 7/6/2022 12:00 PM (ET) San Jacinto River Authority (SJRA) is a conservation and a reclamation district of the State of Texas whose mission is to assure long-term water supplies, to provide safe drinking water, raw water, and wastewater treatment services; to protect source water quality; to coordinate regional flood planning; and to inform and engage the public on a wide range of water resources management topics. Covering all or part of seven counties, the organization's jurisdiction includes the entire San Jacinto River watershed, excluding Harris County. This includes all of Montgomery County and parts of Walker, Waller, San Jacinto, Grimes, Fort Bend, and Liberty Counties. SJRA also serves multiple customers in the Houston area and is authorized to operate in East Harris County through an agreement with the City of Houston, which allows SJRA to operate east of the San Jacinto River.
