Pedestrian Transit Improvements - S. Shanks St and S. Main St.

The Project is located in Clute, Texas on the east side of S. Shanks St. from Plantation Dr. to 270 ft southeast of Main St. and on the west side of S. Main St. from Plantation Dr. to the southwest corner of Bernard St. (0.55 mi). The Project includes construction of sidewalks, curbs, ramps, driveways, crossings and pavement markings. The following work is included in the Project plans: Removal of existing concrete sidewalk, curb ramps, concrete/asphalt driveways, curb, and limited asphalt pavement, landscaping and tree/plant pruning/removal. Proposed 5-ft wide, 5-in thick concrete sidewalks, curb ramps, crosswalk pavement markings, curb, and limited curb and gutter.
