Replacement of Two Passenger Elevators for Its Grand Towers

The Housing Authority of Newport, Kentucky doing business as Neighborhood Foundations is receiving sealed bids for replacement of two passenger elevators for its Grand Towers property located at 1359 Morth Grand Avenue, Newport, Kentucky. The Housing Authority of Newport, Kentucky doing business as Neighborhood Foundations reserves the right to waive any informalities in the submission of bids or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit as bid security in the amount and form specified in the Information for Bidders, Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. These include Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. MBE and WBE entities are encouraged to bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. PREBID MEETING A. Owner and Architect will conduct a Prebid meeting as indicated below: 1. Meeting Date: 24th January 2023 2. Meeting Time: 10:00 AM 3. Location: 1359 N Grand Ave, Newport, KY 41071. Bidder Questions: Submit written questions to be addressed at Prebid meeting minimum of two business days prior to meeting. Bidder must agree to commence work on or before a date to be specified in a written “Notice to Proceed” from the Owner and must fully complete the project by July 31, 2023. Any delays due to lead time issues must be immediately brought to the Owner’s attention at which time the required date of completion may be revised.
