| Description | Removal of existing membrane roof systems and the re-roofing of these areas with single-ply membrane roofing. Alternate A-1 generally consist of removing the existing membrane and ballast roof system from the one-story media center addiction and re-roofing with single ply membrane roofing. Existing thermal insulation and cover boards above deck are planned to remain throughout, although any insulation and roof decking compromised by water intrusion shall be replaced as part of the work, prior to the installation of new roof membranes. |
