Description | As of March 20, 2023, construction is underway, however, an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. The work shall generally consist of: This project includes modifications and rehabilitation of an existing wet well, construction of a new sanitary sewer lift station packaged system with duplex pumps, integrated controls and an above-ground valve vault, demolition of an existing valve vault, and associated site piping. Two (2) existing sanitary sewer brick manholes will also be rehabilitated. In submitting Proposals for the planned work, the Bidder shall declare that only persons or parties interested in the proposed work as Principals are those contained in the Proposal; and that the Proposal is made without collusion with any other person, firm or corporation. Complete digital Contract Document are available for a nonrefundable fee of $20.00 by going to Engineer's Website. All proposals must be made on the Proposal forms furnished by the Owner's Project Engineer and shall contain the signature of the Bidder. The City of Carthage reserves the right to reject any or all bids, any or all bid items, and to waive any and all irregularities or informalities in the bids and/or bidding process and/or in the award of bids. An award of bid, if made, shall be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Bids may be held by the City of Carthage for a period of 15 days from the date of the opening of Bids for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
