| Description | The Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital has a requirement to replace the roof of building 48 and restoration of the roof to its original condition. Currently the roof allows moisture to pass through to the interior of the building. There are several ceiling skylight frames that show severe degradation with rust and reduced flashing between the roof. The objectives of this requirement are to: 1) remove existing exhaust fan roof units, 2) remove existing skylight and infill, 3) remove existing coal tar roof assembly, 4) replace scuppers along roof perimeter, and 5) install a new roof assembly. |
