Description | Reference Number 0000328638 The work to be done includes but is not limited to: safety improvements on Diablo Avenue/DeLong Avenue corridor between Novato Boulevard and Reichert Avenue in the City of Novato, Marin County. The proposed work entails new roadway signage, striping, and minor concrete-curb work to calm arterial traffic, improve pedestrian access by shortening pedestrian crossing distances, and increase the visibility of traffic signals. Curb ramps will be upgraded to current ADA standards. All work will be within the existing City right of way. The DBE Contract goal is 21% percent. THIS PROJECT IS SUBJECT TO THE "BUY AMERICA" PROVISIONS OF THE SURFACE TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE ACT OF 1982 AS AMENDED BY THE INTERMODAL SURFACE TRANSPORTATION EFFICIENCY ACT OF 1991.
