Description

Two story building addition and alterations to existing R.W. Houser YMCA. The existing occupancy classification is Assembly (A-3), swimming pool and gymnasium. The existing occupancy classification after construction will remain the same. The building structure consists of a mix of concrete, masonry walls, steel frame, and metal studs – wholly categorized under Type IIB construction type. The existing building is fully equipped with an automatic sprinkler system and the new addition will also be fully equipped with an automatic sprinkler system. Work will include construction of a warm pool, concrete foundations, structural systems, rubber roofing system, interior systems and finishes, specialties including Sauna and Steam Room systems, building equipment, MEP systems and miscellaneous site improvements.
