Description | SCOPE OF WORK DESCRIPTION: The scope of work for this Project shall include, but not be limited to: o Review original design documents regarding technical specifications on up West flow drive units and associated equipment o Remove existing Drive Stack Assemblies (2 per side) o Replace Drive Stack Assemblies (2 per side) o Install Drive Stack Assemblies (2 per side) o Evaluate overall drive condition (2) o Evaluate Main Bearing (2) o Provide a detailed conditional assessment report on such equipment other than the drive stack assemblies. This report should include costs to repair or replace worn equipment o Adjust/level rake assembly (2) to meet design specifications o Transition time from one basin to the other will be a minimum of a week o All travel expenses to and from job site o Site mobilization and demobilization o Removal of equipment off City Property o Electrical connect and disconnect - contractor responsibility o Offloading and storage of stacks - Contractor to assume risk & liability for the movement and storage of goods, services, and contractor employees and/or subcontractors o Provide necessary oil and grease for equipment startup o Startup of new equipment o Provide training o Provide manuals and startup documentation o Warranty for parts and labor to be included for (1) year A certified check or cashier's check payable to the City of Bloomington, or satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and a licensed surety company must also accompany the Bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total Bid to be forfeited as liquidated damages in the event that the bid be accepted and the Bidder fail to enter into a written contract and furnish the required bond within ten (10) days after the award of the contract. |
