Description | The project is located along Woodland Blvd. in the City of DeLand, Volusia County, Florida. The purpose of this project is to improve roadway safety at the intersections for drivers and pedestrians by providing LED retrofit intersection lighting at the following intersections with Woodland Blvd.: Voorhis Ave., Howry Ave., New York Ave. (SR 44), Indiana Ave., Rich Ave., and Wisconsin Ave. All the intersections have existing decorative lighting which will be maintained to accommodate the City of DeLand's aesthetic synchronicity. The project includes replacement of 72 existing light fixtures with upgraded LED fixtures and the addition of two light poles, one on SW corner of Woodland Blvd. South of Indiana Avenue and the other one on NE corner of Indiana Avenue and Woodland Boulevard. |
