Description | It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure examination of the bid documents and site and to submit any questions / requests for clarification as directed within the Bid Documents. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening, thereof. Forsyth County, Georgia hereby gives public notice that: "It is our policy to assure compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1965, the Civil Rights Act of 1987, and related statutes and regulations in all programs and activities." Award of bid will be made at a later date. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids. B No Questions will be accepted after: June 14th , 2023, 12:00 PM (EST) All questions are to be asked via Bonfire under Opportunity Q&A ID SPECIFICATIONS o Provide a complete Fleet Maintenance Floor Renovation (Approximately 8900 sq. ft.) LOCATION: 4140 County Way Rd, Cumming, GA 30028 The scope of work for the Forsyth County Fleet Maintenance Floor renovation is per the attached specifications from SherwinWilliams, Section 096723 - Resinous Flooring. The Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, and labor for the Fleet Maintenance Shop Floor renovation per the specifications from Sherwin Williams for the resinous flooring. The Fleet Maintenance shop will be working during this renovation. This project shall be completed in a three (3) Phase, one (1) mobilization time frame. Coordination of one day, on Mondays, will be required to allow movable equipment to be removed from the next work phasing area. All equipment to be moved is the responsibility of the Fleet Shop. The area to be worked on will be free and clear of all moveable equipment for the work to continue. A schedule is required with the submission of the bid to include one day, on Mondays, to move equipment between phases. This will be a total of two moving days allowed. OSHA Compliant Dust Control Measures must be followed, 1926.1153. A temporary plastic containment curtain shall be required between areas of the phased work to help with the dust control. The area will be free of all traffic and activity during installation and for 24 hours after completion of each phase. |
