Description | The United States Border Patrol (USBP), Laredo Sector, Texas, (LRT) is experiencing poor Land Mobile Radio (LMR) radio communications, and has reported many radio dead zones along the Rio Grande River. The scope of work for this effort is limited to the following four Area of Responsibility (AoRs): Laredo West (LRW), Laredo North (LRN); Laredo South (LRS); and Laredo Zapata (LRZ). Each of the AoRs referenced above is in need of upgraded LMR communication capabilities to substantially reduce and/or eliminate the radio dead zones to safely support field operations for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) personnel. This effort must validate the initial Government design, deliver, install, configure, integrate, and test the solution as well as provide training and documentation. |
