Grounds Maintenance for City Parks and Other Areas and Parking Lot Areas

Contract Period The contract period shall begin on April 1, 2023, with the first monthly payment on or about May 1, 2023. The contract is effective from April 1, 2023, thru November 30, 2025, a total of 24 working months. The contract period may be extended on a year-to-year basis for a maximum extension of 3 years, provided that both the City and the Contractor mutually agree to the terms of the extension(s). A. Grounds maintenance for parking lot areas B1 -- 1 ls -- regular maintenance B2 -- per man hour -- work as occasion requires All bidders are required to sign a certification that they will comply with all Federal and State non-discrimination laws and regulations. A certified check or bidder's bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of an amount equal to one-third of the total amount of the proposal will be required with each proposal. This applies to the parks and parking lot portions only. Proposals submitted without the appropriate certified check or bidders bond will not be accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive irregularities in proposals and to accept the proposal that in the opinion of the City Council is most advantageous to the City. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of receiving bids.
