Description | As of November 2, 2022, construction has been completed, however, an exact timeline for construction has not been confirmed. A Unified Bid is requested for all work in this project, including General Construction work. The Contractor shall perform all labor, furnish all materials and equipment necessary to complete the contract for all work, Anderson Library Conference Center Second Floor Renovation First Floor Renovation renovation of the anderson library and conference center first floor reserve book shelving and circulation desk accessory spaces into a new enclosed group instruction room for use of the center for urban and regional excellence. the program includes seating at tables for 22 persons. one receptionist and two staff members bring the total staff to 25. the reserve book area has been moved east and revised bookshelving locations are depicted. a new entry into the cure space is through a new corridor east from the existing main lobby. the new cure open space is 945 sf. the condensed reserve space is 693 sf. two existing offices (south wall) remain and a storage nook is shown. total area of work is 3,102 sf. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in bidding. The Owner may consider a bid to be incomplete if it does not provide the required documentation as described in this Notice, including but not limited to the Minority, Womens and Veterans Business Enterprise Participation Plan. The Base Bid may be held for a period not to exceed sixty days before awarding Contracts. All Alternate Bids may be held for a period not to exceed ninety days before award and incorporation into the contract by proper Change Directive. Should a successful Bidder withdraw his bid, or fail to execute a satisfactory Contract within ten days after notice of acceptance of bid, the Owner may declare the Bid Security forfeited as liquidated damages, not as penalty *Information regarding subcontractor bidding has not been disclosed to the content management team at this time.
