Description | Each bidder shall submit all bid documents identified on Exhibit A Forms Required to be Submitted with Proposal electronically ny questions via the electronically must be submitted no later than September 2, 2022 and will be answered through the electronically. Any questions that are not made at the pre-bid conference or through the portal system will be regarded as informal exchanges and will not become a part of the record. If East Fallowfield Township determines that it is necessary to clarify, amend, or modify the terms of the bid documents, it shall have the right to do so by preparation of an Addendum which shall be posted on the PennBid system. Each bid must be made on the Proposal Bid Form and signed by a person authorized to make the proposal and bid. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security, Bidder Affidavit, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bidder Questionnaire, Non-Discrimination Affidavit, Consent of Surety, and Affidavit of Workers Compensation insurance as set forth in the enclosed The Bid Security in the form of a bid bond or certified check must be payable to the Township of East Fallowfield in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total value of the highest bid (inclusive of options years and possible alternates) to guarantee that in the event the bid is accepted and the contract awarded to the bidder, the contract will be duly executed and a performance bond and insurance will be provided to the Township. Within twenty days from the date of the award of the contract, the successful bidder will be required to submit a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the total value of the contract (excluding the option years). The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay portal Program a fee of 1/3% of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through portal and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. East Fallowfield Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and/or to waive any immaterial defects or irregularities in the bid proposal. The Township will accept the lowest, responsible bid that, in its sole judgment, is in the best interest of the Township. |
