Green Hills Road (Platte Brooke to 78th Street) - City of Kansas City

This federally funded and cooperative agreement project is to complete the design of 3 lane street from Platte Brooke to NW 78th Street. Construction to be completed by Platte County and includes a $2,000,000 million 2018 federal STP grant. The City is completing the design and right-of-way (ROW) with Platte County completing the construction funding match through their road and bridge sales tax. The funding below will be needed in 2018 to complete ROW purchase to meet the reasonable progress date for the federal funding. This project is in the early planning phase. As of September 10, 2018, this project is included in the City of Kansas 2019-2023 CIP and construction is projected for 2018-19. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
