| Description | A New Built Up Roof System For a +/- (6,500 Sq/Ft) Section of the m.s. Bailey Muncipal Center, Located at 211 North Broad Street, Clinton, SC, Should Consist of the Following. - Remove the Existing Roof Down to the Existing Wood Decking. - Clean Wood Decking, Then Apply One (1)PLY of 15LB. Felt Paper. - Install One (1) Layer of ¾” Perlite Roofing Insulation Using the Appropriate Fastners. - Install New Fibered Cant Strip at The Bottom of The Parapet Walls. - Apply Three (3) Plies of Type IV Fiberglass Felt Hot Mopped in Type III Steep Asphalt. - Apply New Flashing Hot Moped Using Type III Steep Asphalt to the Inside of the Parapet Wells. - Fabricate and Install New 4” Galvanized Metal Counter Flashing to the Inside of the Papapet Walls Anchored in Place to Hold The New Flashing. - Provide and Install One (1) New Cast Iron Roof Drain With Piping on The Rear of The Roof Area. - After All Detailed Work is Complete Entire Roof Shall be Moped With Typr III Steep Asphalt for The Final Coating all Materials Removed From The Roof During Repairs Must be Removed From Site at The Constractors Expense. |
