Description

The project includes the following work: Removal and disposal of the existing 115kV station equipment, structures, bus work, foundations, conduit, as well as sections of fencing, ground wire and landscaping. Station fencing will be expanded to the east and south. New 115kV station equipment will consist of a 4-breaker ring bus with three transmission lines and one transformer. Work completed on the 12kV side of the station will consist of the removal of the existing control enclosure exterior, expansion of and modification to the existing foundation, oversite of the new control enclosure installation, and installation of new panels with associated wiring. Existing equipment, panels, and wire way will remain in place during demolition and installation of the new control enclosure. Contractor will perform construction as shown in the attached drawings and in accordance with the bid documents and Summary of Work. Portions of construction will occur on existing wetlands while some wetlands on the property will remain undisturbed.
