Design and Construction Inspection Services for Various Bridge Deck Replacements and Minor Repair Work at Three Bridge Sites, Rowe Rd. Over Onesquethaw Creek (Bin 3301300) Onesquethaw Creek Rd. Over Onesquethaw Creek (Bin 3301310) and Old Plank Rd. Over Onesquethaw Creek (Bin 3301340). The intent of these specifications is to furnish information to responsible proposers for the purpose of obtaining proposals to retain a NYS licensed engineer to provide complete design and construction inspection services as outlined in Section 4: Scope of Services. The bridges are located in the Town of New Scotland. The proposed project will consist of designing bridge deck replacements for the three Ohio Truss bridges (existing decks are timber with asphalt overlay) along with minor substructure, approach and railing repairs. The design live load for the replacement bridge decks shall be in accordance with NYSDOT standards for a one lane bridge. The design engineer shall procure all required permits, including any environmental permits required to complete the project (i.e. NYSOPRHP, NYSDEC, U.S. Army Corps, etc.). The County will sign and forward permit applications to the appropriate agency.
