Description | The Newark Housing Authority (NHA) is accepting sealed bids to furnish labor and material to replace the fire alarm system at 500 Broad Street, per the drawings and specifications, dated December 20, 2023, prepared by Lan Associates. The contract term shall be until the work is completed The deadline for posting questions and requests of this IFB is Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at 10:00 AM. The surety company for all bonds must be a guaranty or surety company acceptable to the U.S. Department of Treasury. Individual sureties will not be considered. The surety company must be licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey. U.S. Treasury Circular 570 published annually in the Federal Register lists companies approved to act as surety on bonds securing government contracts, the maximum underwriting limits on each contract bonded, and the state in which each company is licensed to do business Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et seq. and NJAC 17:27 (PL 1975 c 127 Affirmative Action). This solicitation is subject to the requirements of NJSA 40A:11-1 et seq. and 2 CFR 200 et seq These bids are being solicited through a Fair and Open Process following N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4 et seq. The Housing Authority of the City of Newark reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informality in the Bidding. The NHA also reserves the right to award all or a portion of the award to one (1) or more responsible responsive Bidders. No Bid shall be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after the opening of the Bids without the consent of the Housing Authority of the City of Newark. Important.- Please note that we are adding last year's addendum as a piece of information to clarify some questions in this scope of work that we clarified last year.
