Description | The CITY's Council Chamber audio visual system was installed in 2009. Room dimensions are approximately 65 feet by 51 feet with 15 foot ceilings and gallery capacity of 200 seats. The control panel on the staff table is the central component that controls all of the features in the Council Chamber, including: lights, cameras, microphone levels, audio level from computer, audio recording, and video/display source. This control panel has been problematic: it frequently has difficulty switching from one video source to another and the recording timer on the panel sometimes appears as if it has stopped recording. These issues have caused multiple interruptions during City Council/board meetings. The analog system is aging and becoming unreliable, requiring frequent reboots of the system and replacement/repair of various pieces of equipment. | ||
