| Description | The Fairfax County Water Authority (d/b/a: Fairfax Water) hereby invites bids from prequalified contractors properly licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia to furnish and install approximately 2,300 linear feet of 42-inch water transmission main with an approximately 400 linear foot tunneled crossing of the Occoquan River, approximately 160 linear feet of 36-inch water main, and approximately 350 linear feet of 24-inch water main for connection of the 42-inch piping to the existing system, replacement of approximately 700 linear feet of 24-inch water main, and other appurtenant work including valves, hydrants, interconnections, meter manholes, and other miscellaneous work as described in the Contract Documents, Specifications, and Drawings, which are only available to Pre-Qualified Bidders.
