Description | As of March 20, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The proposed work includes the following: o Installation of new 42" RCP Storm Sewer in place of the existing 36" RCP Storm Sewer located on the north side of East Briarcliff Road from Queens wood Road to Oxford Road, complete. This project will include the following: o Remove the existing 36" RCP Storm Sewer. o Installation of 700 LF of 42" RCP Storm Sewer. o Removal and replacement of the adjacent public sidewalk. o Removal and replacement of the adjacent B:6-12 curb and gutter. o Adjacent longitudinal pavement patch. o Reconstructed driveway aprons. o Tree removal and replacement in the north parkway of East Briarcliff Road. o The contractor is responsible for the proper and professional maintenance of all crossing services. o Maintenance of Traffic for cars and bikes and pedestrians, to ensure a safe project. o Any additional appurtenant work required to make this a well-constructed project, and all required safety measures and clean-up tasks to insure a successful project. o The Contractor will work in a deliberate and safe manner. The safety of the Public, and the VoB Staff and the Contractor's Employees is the TOP PRIORITY. o The Contractor will work in a neat fashion and ensure a clean work environment. The Contractor will properly clean and dispose of all work debris and neatly store all tools at the end of each workday. All interested contractors will be required to meet the local and state prevailing wage requirements. Further, all interested contractors will be required to meet the specified MBE/WBE criteria for conformance to the DCEO Grant. |
