Description | As of October 2023, an award has yet to be announced. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Replacement of Boilers - Warehouse 66 SP4703-22-R-0002 1. SCOPE Warehouse 66 @ Defense Supply Center Richmond, VA -- two boilers are failing and are in need of replacement. The existing condensate tank and lines also need replacing. A water softener/water chemical treatment station shall also be installed. 2. BACKGROUND Wh66 boilers and condensate system are at the end of their lifespan and need replacing. 3. OBJECTIVES The objective of this project is to replace the two old failing boilers with new ones, replace the condensate tank/pump, and install a water softener/chemical treatment station. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number SP4703-22-R-0002 is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This is a firm-fixed price award. This acquisition is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220. The small business size standard is $16.5 Million. Contractor to provide equipment, tools, materials and labor to replace the boilers in Warehouse 66 of DSCR at DSCR located at 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway, Richmond Virginia. Refer to the Statement of Work (SOW) for details. The period of performance is 80 days after receipt of award. Award will be made to the lowest priced offeror that meets the requirements identified in the SOW. The contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. If not already registered, go to SAM website www.sam.gov to register prior to submitting your quote. All inquiries in regard to the RFP must be submitted 5 working day prior to closing date.
