Whistler Street Sidewalk Improvements

This project will provide the residents of Prichard and guest with American with Disabilities (ADA) Compliant sidewalks and curb ramps; curbs, and minor drainage improvements along the Whistler Historic District. the project limits are from the Whistler bike trail on North Anderson Avenue to Whistler Street terminating at Greer Avenue. The new sidewalk will be installed on one side of Whistler Street alternating sides, as necessary. The bracket estimate on this project is from $129,172.50 to $174,762.80. The principal items of work are approximately as follows: 1. Concrete Sidewalk, 4 Inch Thick 3093 SY 2. Concrete Curb, Type A 3644 LF 3. 18 Inch Storm Drain Pipe 310 LF 4. Concrete Driveway, 6 Inch 1010 SY 5. Curb ADA Ramps (included under sidewalk) 6. Detectable Warnings (included under sidewalk).
