| Description | Diablo Water District and Ironhouse Sanitary District are jointly interested in conducting a public opinion survey within our service areas to determine public acceptance of recycled water as a resource. Both agencies are committed to a one water approach and see all water as valuable, including the reuse of recycled water. The agencies performed a Recycled Water Feasibility Study that included reuse options that ranged from landscape irrigation up to and including direct potable reuse. In order to gauge public sentiment regarding reuse options, an education/question format of data collection will be beneficial. Results of this survey will guide the agencies in project selection. Population: 45,000 Location: Oakley, CA and unincorporated Contra Costa County (Bethel Island and Hotchkiss Tract) Last Day for Clarification Questions October 26, 2022 Contract Award November 16, 2022 Project Start December 1, 2022 Project Completion March 30, 2023 |
