Morey Avenue School HVAC Modernization Phase 2 Project

Description of Work: Project scope includes but is not limited to the replacement of HVAC units on multiple buildings. Addition of proposed safety rails and existing roof repair around curbs as shown in the project documents for a complete and operational project. Work to be performed during normal business hours Contract Completion Date (Closeout) August 25, 2023 Notice of Award January 20, 2023 Notice to Proceed February 10, 2023 Liquidated Damages: $ 1,000.00/day PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BONDS Contractor must deliver to District the following bonds within ten (10) days of the Notice of Award, on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. (1) Performance Bond naming District as Obligee, in a sum not less than 100 percent of the amount of the Contract, to guarantee the faithful performance of the Contract. (2) Labor & Material Payment Bond in a sum not less than 100 percent of the amount of the Contract, to guarantee the payment to all claimants, as defined in section 9100 of the Civil Code covering wages for services engaged and of bills contracted for materials, supplies, and equipment used in the performance of the Contract The District reserves the right to reject the Bid of any bidder based on non-responsibility and/or who has previously failed to perform properly or to complete on time, contracts with the District. The District reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or alternates and waive any informality or irregularity in the Bids or in the bidding.
