Yarbrough Drive Bridge Replacement

The Yarbrough Drive Bridge Replacement project consists of a bridge replacement, culvert replacement, pedestrian safety, providing ADA accessibility, and full-depth pavement rehabilitation. This project has been separated as Base Bids I, II, III and IV. Base Bid I consists of the replacement of the bridge along Yarbrough Drive crossing the Playa Drain, as well as the full depth pavement rehabilitation of the approaching roadway. The improvements include: proposed pavement, concrete curb & gutter (standard & rolled), driveways, sidewalks, and ADA ramps. Additional improvements include: traffic signal improvements and aesthetic pedestrian railing attached to the bridge rail on both sides of the bridge along Yarbrough Drive. Utility improvements consist of adjusting manhole covers, water meters and water valves. Access to all properties must be provided during construction. Base Bid II consists of replacing the existing 48-inch RCP culvert crossing Arvin Circle with two 10-foot by 7-foot box culverts and improvements to the approaching roadway. Base Bid III consists of relocating the water main along Arvin Circle. Base Bid IV consists of relocating the sanitary sewer main along Arvin Circle.
