Continuing Engineering Consulting Services for South Martin Regional Utility

The Consultant may be requested to perform, as needed, continuing contract consulting services for the Town and South Martin Regional Utility. The projects will require close and frequent liaison with Town and SMRU Administrative and Management Staff. Projects may include, but are not limited to, the following: Design-build Services Engineering Design and Construction Phase Services by a State-licensed Professional Engineer for the following: Water Distribution System Improvements Wastewater Collection System Improvements New and Replacement Lift Stations Reuse Treatment and Distribution System Improvements Water Treatment Plant Optimization, Expansions and Upgrades Wellfield Improvements Biosolids Management and Operations Odor Control Systems New and Replacement Wells Wastewater Treatment Plant Optimization, Expansions and Upgrades Instrumentation and Controls Optimization, Programming and Upgrades RO Concentrate Disposal Systems Septic to Sewer Conversion Programs Pretreatment Systems Electrical System Improvements Engineering reports by a State-licensed Professional Engineer including: Water and Wastewater Treatment Optimization Studies Wellfield Assessments Risk and Resiliency Assessments Emergency Management Plans Water Supply Plan Updates Hydraulic Modeling Construction Inspection Reports Inflow and Infiltration Studies FDEP, SFWMD and EPA Required Studies and Reports Emergency Management Services Geographic Information System (GIS) support Hydrogeologic services, including groundwater hydraulic modeling Wellfield Monitoring and Maintenance Assistance Geotechnical sampling, data collection, evaluation and reporting Topographic survey services by State-licensed surveyor Environmental services Permitting and regulatory assistance Project certification Inter-governmental coordination Other utility issues as directed by SMRU
