Description | The City of Jacksonville is seeking a vendor to supply the following services at the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department Headquarters 911 Center located at 515 North Julia Street, Jacksonville, FL. 1. Furnish and provide all necessary labor and material for the proper installation of under the floor cable tray Model – Snake Tray CM 101-6-8-G to include all required hardware 2. Furnish and provide all necessary labor and material for the proper install of one (1) two (2) post equipment rack, over-head ladder rack, two (2) vertical wire managers, five (5) horizontal wire managers and four (4) forty-eight (48) port patch panels for new telecommunications room 3. Furnish and provide all necessary labor and material for the proper installation of two (2) forty-eight (48) strand single mode fiber optic cables to extend fiber to new telecommunications room to include: a. Fusion splices not to exceed ninety-six (96) b. Two (2) four panel Corning LIU’s c. Eight (8) LC style high density panels 4. Furnish and provide all necessary labor and material for the proper installation of: a. Ten (10) each category six A (C6A) plenum circuits to sixteen (16) cubicle locations for a total of 160 circuits, per the customer provided plans, to include: i. Sixteen (16) twelve (12) port patch panels at each cubicle location and all required termination hardware ii. Twenty (20) category six A (C6A) plenum circuits to various office locations to include all required hardware 5. Terminate, label, test and provide test results. 6. Furnish and provide all necessary labor and material to properly extend electrical, grounding and bonding to the newly installed re-configured cubicle locations, utilizing existing customer infrastructure. Install two (2) each quad receptacle to sixteen (16) cubicle locations for a total of thirty two (32) quad receptacles, to include, mc cable, conduit pathway and all required hardware. This project has been designated to be under the Equal Business Opportunity Program and has been selected to utilize the following method for achieving JSEB utilization and goals under the Equal Business Opportunity Program: The Encouragement Plan. Under the encouragement plan, vendors are required to make all efforts reasonably necessary to ensure that City certified JSEB have a full and fair opportunity to compete for performance on this project. |
