A Building Renovation for West Alabama Public Transit Central Offices

A BUILDING RENOVATION FOR WEST ALABAMA PUBLIC TRANSIT CENTRAL OFFICES DEMOPOLIS, ALABAMA Work includes, but is not limited to, interior and exterior building renovations to an existing building that will become the new West Alabama Public Transit Central Office; coordination of the entire project and all related work required for project completion, as indicated on the Bid and Contract Documents. Certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner, for not less than five percent (5%) of amount of bid, but in no event more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000), must accompany each proposal. Workmen's Compensation, extended fire and tornado insurance, public liability and property damage insurance, performance and payment bond, and Builders Risk insurance will be required. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of SIXTY (60) days. The national goal for participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) is 10%. Responders must be registered in SAM (System of Award Management). Additional qualifications and requirements for General Contractor Bidders and separate Subcontractors and Manufacturers are indicated in the Bid and Contract Documents. Certifications must be signed and returned with bid responses. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in their judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted. 1. Existing site conditions and restrictions on use of the site. 2. Demolition of existing improvements, where indicated and as otherwise required to accommodate the new Work. 3. Interior building renovations of the existing West Alabama Public Transit Central Offices, minor exterior paving & sidewalk work, and all related work. 4. Site maintenance. 5. Coordination of the entire Work of the project Completion- 400 consecutive calendar days thereafter.
