Security Glass and Facility Hardening Upgrades

For work that will be performed inside the St. Mary’s Adult Detention and Rehabilitation Center, there are special security requirements for contractors and their employees to work in this facility. Workers must have and present valid picture identification to enter the building. Workers will be escorted at all times by Building Services staff. A background check will be conducted through the St. Mary’s Adult Detention and Rehabilitation Center for all workers at the facility. Adult Detention Center Requirements: All tools and equipment will be required to be checked and cleared by Corrections staff. This is required each time contractor enters or exits Detention Center with tools and/or equipment. Therefore, it is suggested and preferred that contractor maintain a locked job box onsite at the Adult Detention Center that can house tools while steady work is being performed. Once tools are cleared and checked in the tools can then be maintained onsite eliminating need for daily inspections. All screws, security tips, and tools must be accounted for at all times during performance of contract services.
