| Description | Replacement and installation of new devices for the upgrade of the existing fire alarm and public address (P.A.) systems at the Broward County Public Safety Building (PSB) located at 2601 West Broward Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312. Elements of the Work include, but are not limited to the following: A new addressable, microprocessor-based fire alarm system will be installed and be connected to the existing fire alarm control panel (JCI 3030). Existing subsystems such as sprinkler, pre-action, clean agent, smoke control system, fire pump and elevator recall etc. will be reconnected, monitored, and controlled by the new fire alarm system. The project will include an integrated building mass notification system (UL 2572) for emergency BSO announcements that will cover all office areas, corridors, restrooms and public areas of the public safety building. |
