Rack Removal and Warehouse Reconfig/Update

Remove single sided rack systems, relocate sufficient quantity to create additional storage in warehouse 03A, and dispose off base of all unused racks from B3736, warehouse 05A. Grind off all floor studs used to secure racks as to prevent a tripping hazard. Leave area clean and free of all deconstruction items. (see SOW 1.1.1 for details) Remove antiquated warehouse rack system as identified. Reconfigure existing rack system shelving. Install sufficient portion of rack system from warehouse 05A to create row in warehouse 03A. Contractor will provide all materials, equipment, and tools to execute the contract. (see SOW 1.2.1 for details) Installed guard and rack system has no known stock number. Unit is approx. 165 feet long by 6 feet wide and 20 feet high. Remove approximately 170 feet of guard from the floor in front of the rack system and dispose of all material. Remove rack system approximately 165 feet long and approximately 20 feet high and dispose of all material. After removal, cut all bolts off at floor level to prevent tripping hazard. Estimated Start date 13 Sep 2021 and Estimated Completion 25 Oct 2021. Remove guard and rack system using roll up cargo door located on the west side of building 3736. Method for removal of guard and rack system will be determined by the contractor and all components will be removed from Edwards AFB and disposed of as determined by the contractor.
