Penn Trafford High School - Mechanical Pipe Remediation

1. The Mechanical Pipe Remediation will be performed at the existing Penn Trafford High School's basement mechanical room, located at 3381 PA-130, Harrison City, PA 15636.The high school's existing mechanical piping insulation in the basement mechanical room is in various stages of damage, wear, delamination, mold, cracking, etc. The room is experiencing humidification that contributes to the insulation's deterioration. 2. The contractor shall replace the existing pipe insulation in the selected zones ranging from complete removal (insulation tape, fiberglass insulation, etc) of existing insulation, to cleaning and repairing existing pipe /duct insulation. 3. The contractor will install a specified air-handling unit to assist in the de-humidification of the Room/Space.
