Awning Maintenance, Repair, Removal and Disposal - Disaster Contract

For Awning Maintenance, Repair, Removal and Disposal - Disaster Contract The City of Fort Myers is seeking responses from qualified vendors to provide awning maintenance, repair, removal and disposal services in response to manmade or natural disasters that affect the City of Fort Myers. Services are to include all labor, materials, supplies and equipment. Pre-Bid Meeting: No Online Q&A: Yes Q&A Deadline: 02/06/2023 10:00 AM (EST) The City intends to award a contract beginning on the effective date (the date the last party signs the contract) for a period of five (5) years or until a new contract is awarded. Upon filing of the Formal Written Protest, the contractor/vendor/firm shall post a bond, payable to the City of Fort Myers in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid/quote/proposal or Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), whichever is less. Said bond shall be designated and held for the payment of any costs that may be levied against the protesting contractor/vendor/firm by the Owner, as the result of a frivolous Protest. Said security shall be in the form of a cashier's check on a national or state bank, money order, or a protest bond executed by the contractor/vendor/firm and a qualified Surety authorized to do business in the State of Florida, and acceptable to the City of Fort Myers.
