Pedestrian and Transit Connectivity - East Cedar Street Sidewalk

The Project involves construction of approximately 2,930' (0.555 mi) of new sidewalks and crosswalks along the North side of E. Cedar St. and East side of Downing St. The following improvements are included in the Project plans: 1. Removal of trees and foliage, existing driveways, curb and gutter, and drainage inlets and pipe 2. Mill and overlay of asphalt pavement at indicated intersections 3. Proposed 5-ft wide, 5-in thick concrete sidewalks, curb ramps, crosswalk pavement markings, and driveway crossings 4. Proposed concrete/asphalt driveways, curb and gutter, and drainage inlets and pipe as indicated in plans 5. Adjustments of utilities and street signs as indicated and/or necessary Project limits are beginning on North side of E. Cedar St. from 250' West of Willow St. to Downing St., across E. Cedar St. on West side of Downing St. to the Southwest corner of E. Cedar & Downing, and across Downing St. from the North side of E. Cedar St. to the East side of Downing and ending 134' North of E. Cedar St.
