Wolf Reservoir and Booster Replacement Project

The DWP needs assistance with compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for the development of a replacement reservoir at the DWP's Wolf Reservoir site as well as, replacement of a pump station located at the site. The reservoir will be a 600,000-gallon storage reservoir that will replace an existing 100,000-gallon storage reservoir. The existing booster station will be upgraded to include a concrete block building with a metal roof. The Project also includes upgrading five sections of transmission pipeline totaling 4,090 L.F. The DWP needs the following for this Project: Preparation of a project description that identifies all physical changes to the environment that can result from implementation of the proposed Project. Preparation of environmental documentation for the Project including any necessary studies. Publish proposed study for public distribution and comment. Review public comments on study and respond to comments received. File final documentation at the end of the CEQA process. As of December 18, 2023, the project is in design. A tentative bid schedule for contractors is scheduled for early 2024. Construction is slated to begin Late Spring 2024.
