Description

Construction of Certain Improvements on the Water Tower #10 Repair and Repainting Project Which Generally Includes the Following Features: Project Consists of the Surface Preparation and Repainting of the Interior and Exterior of One (1) Welded Steel Water Storage Tank (Water Tower #10) That Is Approximately 125 Feet High by 10 Feet Diameter Along With Miscellaneous Point Repairs, as Required and Exterior Lettering. Bids Shall Be Made in Accordance With the Notice to Bidders, General Conditions, Special Conditions and Provisions, Plans, Specifications and Bidder's Proposal Which Are on File and Available for Examination at the Main Office of the District (27254 S. 4440 Road, Vinita, Oklahoma 74301) and Are Made a Part of This Notice as Though Fully Set Forth Herein. A Cashier's Check, a Certified Check or a Surety Bond in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Bid Shall Accompany the Sealed Proposal of Each Bidder. Deposits Will Be Returned to the Unsuccessful Bidders. Bidders, or Their Authorized Representatives, Agents, Officers or Members Must Sign the Bid Proposal and Provide the Approved Form of Security or the Bidder's Bid Shall Be Disqualified. The Timeframe for This Project Will Be Limited. The District Will Not Take the Water Tower Out of Service Until After September 30, 2022. Bidders Agree to Commence Work Within Ten (10) Calendar Days After the Date of Notice to Proceed Issued by the District and to Complete the Same Within Sixty (60) Calendar Days After Commencement Thereon. The Bidder to Whom a Contract Is Awarded Will Be Required to Furnish Public Liability and Workmen's Compensation Insurance; Performance, Payment and Statutory Defect Bonds in the Form Provided by the District and in Conformity With the Requirements of the Proposed Contract Documents. The Bonds Shall Each Be for One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Price. All Actions of Bidders Must Be in Compliance With the Provisions of State, Local and Federal Laws, Rules and Regulations. The District Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Bids.
