Description | RFI responses will be posted to the original solicitation located at https://sam.gov in amendment format. Deadline for submission of RFIs for this solicitation is close of business January 25, 2023. No questions will be answered after this date unless determined to be in the best interest of the Government as deemed by the Contracting Officer. Telephone requests for information will not be accepted or returned. Project entitled Add Emergency Power to Central Chiller Plant, project number 506-21-110, which requires the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, supervision, equipment, and all other necessary resources to fully complete the work identified in the contract specifications and drawings. See Important Bidder Information starting on page 5 This acquisition is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses with the ability to accomplish the work via North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 238210. Place of Performance is at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105 MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Contractor is to construct a new addition to Bldg 32, Energy Center, to house a new generator. Construction will include tying into the existing fuel farm to provide fuel for the new generator; providing and installing multiple ATS switches for the new standby power system that is designed to back-up the central chilled water plant; and installation of DDC controls that are to tie into and integrate with the facilities existing Siemens Design building management system.
