Washington District Pump Station Area Sanitary Sewer Improvements

The Project or Work consists of replacement of 4,200 linear feet of 18-inch and 24-inch gravity sewer and associated manholes and service laterals and 1,500 linear feet of 10-inch force main, abandonment with flowable fill to 5,600 linear feet of pipe and 14 structures, trenchless installation of a 42-inch steel casing pipe under the railroad, removal of existing outfall pipe and headwall, connection of City sanitary system to the new HRSD system and rehabilitation to 3 City structures, mill and overlay roadway and site restoration. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid shall be submitted electronically with each Bid. Contractorregistration in accordance with Title 2.2, Chapter 43 and Title 54.1, Chapter 11, Code of Virginia is required. HRSD reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any informalities, or negotiate with the low bidder as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
